Covenant House California is the only year-round, full service, 24-hour crisis shelter in the East Bay Area for homeless youth ages 18 to 23. Our new facility provides an 18-bed crisis shelter, a 12-bed transitional living program, a full cafeteria, and professional counseling and employment services.

Covenant House California is part of the nationwide network of Covenant Houses founded in 1972. Covenant Houses are located in fifteen U.S. cities, two in Canada and four in Latin America. The Bay Area program, based in Oakland, is one of the newest in existence.
