Lobbying by nonprofits isn't just legal - it's important, powerful, and fundamental to democracy.  Yet when it comes to ensuring that underrepresented communities have a voice in shaping the policies that affect them, too many nonprofits believe that participating in lobbying activities will jeopardize their organization's tax-exempt status.

In reality, the IRS actually encourages nonprofits to engage in federal lobbying and other advocacy activities, so long as they adhere to the broad limitations set forth by the federal tax code.

On Wednesday, May 28th, in an effort to demystify and debunk many of the common misperceptions associated with lobbying activities for 501(c)(3)s, Alliance for Justice is pleased to invite you to a FREE in-person training opportunity in Washington, DC!

Space is extremely limited, so RSVP using the registration link below to guarantee a spot!
