Contact Congress – The President's Budget Is a Net Loss for Students

President Bush's FY 2006 budget proposal calls for increasing the Pell Grant maximum by $100 each year for the next five years, but eliminates funding for five student aid programs to help pay for it.  If the president's plan were enacted, it could result in a net loss of aid for thousands of students.
