Victory!

Critical public lands bill passes the senate. S 2739, the Consolidated Natural Resources Act of 2008 passed in the Senate 91-4. More than 11 thousand of you sent petitions to the Senate, and your work paid off. Provisions in the bill include increased authorization for Underground Railroad, Cesar Chavez Study, the Carl Sandburg Historic Site expansion, and Acadia National Park improvements and authorized expansion.
