The short explanation of this alert was:
The Military Readiness Enhancement Act was reintroduced in the House of Representatives on February 28, 2007. This bill would repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and replace it with a nondiscrimination policy. Rep. Marty Meehan (D-MA) introduced the bill with 109 bi-partisan original cosponsors.
Tell your representative to sign on as a cosponsor of the Military Readiness Enhancement Act!
