Ohio Environmental Council.
The short explanation of this alert was:
Due to overwhelming pressure from consumers, the Ohio Department of Agriculture recently backed off from a plan to prohibit labels identifying dairy products made without genetically engineered growth hormones. But a proposed new rule may soon make it harder for dairy producers to tell you whether the milk you buy is free of artificial growth hormones, such as rbST or rbGH. We need your help to protect our right to know what is – and what is not – in the milk we drink!
