The short explanation of this alert was:

Governor Pawlenty has signed into law the 2010 bonding bill, which includes $21 million for the Minnesota Zoo. Of this, $15 million will be used – along with private funding already raised – to complete Phase 1 of Heart of the Zoo. The remaining $6 million will be used for asset preservation/exhibit renewal at the Zoo. Please share your appreciation of the state’s support of the Zoo with your elected officials and the Governor.
