Today on the Senate Floor, Republicans are once again ratcheting up pressure to rubberstamp the president's judicial nominations.  Propaganda is flying fast and furious, often at the expense of the facts.

The truth is that President Bush is relentlessly moving forward with his plan to pack the federal courts with judges who will advance the ultraconservative agenda.  The courts of appeal have already dealt numerous blows to organized labor, environmental protection, women's rights, and civil rights, as well as other progressive interests.  It is time for the United States Senate to stand up to the President by ending consideration of controversial judicial nominees to the federal appeals courts. 

ASK YOUR SENATOR to tell Senator Reid and Senator Leahy to stop the confirmation of controversial judicial nominees today.
