Across the U.S., SEIU International is reducing representation, and signing deals with employers that gives management exclusive rights on pay rates, benefits, working conditions, and patient care standards. In California, SEIU members - state workers, hospital, nursing home, clinic, long-term care employees - are facing a growing assault with layoffs, furloughs, budget cuts, takeaway demands from employers.
