The Center for Inquiry is home to Skeptical Inquirer and Free Inquiry magazines and anchor point to hundreds of skeptic and humanist societies around the world. The Center provides scientists, philosophers, media professionals, students, and the public with objective information in three areas of interest: paranormal and fringe science claims; medicine and mental health; and religion, ethics and society. The Amherst, NY headquarters (adjacent to the State University of New York at Buffalo) remains a worldwide hub for rationality and critical thinking. At the same time, the Center for Inquiry maintains branches in New York City, Los Angeles, California and Tampa, Florida.
