Wilder Research Statewide Survey of Homeless Persons
Every three years since 1991, Wilder Research has conducted a statewide survey of people who are homeless or living in temporary housing programs. Survey results are used extensively to provide an accurate picture of homelessness in Minnesota and to improve policies and practices. The survey will be conducted again on October 22, 2009; at transitional housing sites, interviews will occur from October 22 to October 30. All volunteers are required to watch an instructional DVD. Individual DVD training materials are provided to each volunteer. Interviews will take place at more than 300 shelter locations throughout Minnesota. To volunteer: contact Karen Ulstad at Wilder Research, 651-280-2690 or toll free 1-800-328-2972, or email: karen@wilder.org
