Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the New Jersey Audubon Society website. On some pages, you can make requests, register to receive materials, register for programs or events, or order merchandise from our online nature store.  The types of personal information collected at these pages are: name, address, e-mail address, phone number, credit/debit card information, membership status.  On some pages, you can submit this personal information about other people. For example, if you order a gift membership online and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to submit the recipient's address.

The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when becoming a member, making a gift, registering for a program or event, or placing an order, only to complete that transaction. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the transaction.
We use the information you provide about someone else when giving them a gift membership, making a tribute gift, registering that person for a program or event, or placing an order, only to notify that person about the gift membership or tribute gift, or that the program or event registration was made on their behalf, or to ship product and to confirm delivery,   We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that transaction.

New Jersey Audubon Society will not sell, swap or otherwise disseminate your email address or phone number to any other individuals or organizations.  From time to time, we may elect to swap mailing lists (via US Postal Service) with other non-profit organizations who share similar goals.  However, that is the extent of the information we will share.
