Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D-Westchester) will be sponsoring the Reproductive Health Act when it is introduced this legislative session. Because of her support for women’s health, Senator Stewart-Cousins has been targeted by the Catholic Conference and other anti-choice groups. Despite the opposition’s aggressive campaign of distortions and scare tactics, the majority of New Yorkers support the bill and a woman’s right to make fundamental health decisions.
