Welcome to the Council for Secular Humanism, defending secularism, the separation of church and state, and rational, ethical alternatives to religious morality, together with promoting a naturalistic world-view and humanistic values.
We are the largest organization of our kind working to protect the secular viewpoint, defend the constitutional separation of church and state in the U.S., and promoting humanistic values and inquiry. We are an educational not-for-profit, with numerous programs and activities throughout the U.S. and the world, and depend on grassroots support, through our advocacy campaigns and donations to accomplish our goals.
In these times, we are often the lone defender of secular humanist values and positions. We hope you will add your voice to the growing number of those who will not stand silent against the onslaught of religious fundamentalism here and abroad. Please join us so our voices can work together.
