Arnold lost all four of his ballot initiatives, which intended to restict the rights of unions and favor corporate interests. Arnold's defeat is partly due to the hard work of the California Nurses Association and its members. However, this is not the time to rest. Our values, rights and future are at stake. The California Nurses Association will continue to confront the challenges facing the state of California. I ask that you stand with me and the nurses as we forge a brighter future for all Californians. We will keep you updated on our work in 2006.
