The Michigan Senate just passed legislation attacking a woman's right to choose, ironically on the anniversary of Roe v Wade. The issue of freedom and equality for GLBT people is intrinsically intertwined with attacks on women's freedom to control their own bodies. Please help us defeat Senate Bill 776.

The need for abortion can be reduced through common-sense policies. Rather than wasting taxpayer dollars with redundant legislation, we should work together to increase access to health care and family planning, expand insurance coverage of contraceptives, and teach our young people to protect themselves and make responsible decisions with comprehensive abstinence-plus education.
