Triangle Foundation is
organizing a phone bank to educate and encourage voters in the
Kalamazoo area to defend the Kalamazoo Non-Discrimination
Ordinance Nov. 3. As Election Day nears more resources are
needed to keep up the momentum to protect all families in
Kalamazoo.
This is important to every person in Michigan
who believes in fairness and equality. This is important because
one day your town, city, or village will be asked to put
fairness and equality first, and support all
families.
We would like to invite you to volunteer
for a two-hour shift making telephone calls to voters in
Kalamazoo between 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday Nov. 2. The
phone bank will be set up at the Triangle Foundation office and
light fare will be provided.
Also, we are in the
process of updating our volunteer database. If you are not
interested in phone banking, but have a preference for mailings,
events, clerical or other volunteer work, please let us know.
If you are available to
volunteer any of your time, please contact me via e-mail or call
me at the number below.
Thank you so much for
your consideration!
