Good morning,
It's a great day in
Michigan.
Yesterday proved that Michigan believes in
fairness. It also proves that Michigan believes in electing
people who can do the job.
With your involvement and
dedication, fairness can rule all over Michigan.
Triangle
Foundation would like to congratulate ONE Kalamazoo and the
people of Kalamazoo who voted for fairness, who said no to
discrimination and yes to inclusion.
Additionally,
Triangle Foundation would like to congratulate Councilman and
President of the Detroit City Council, Charles Pugh. Councilman
Pugh is the first openly gay candidate to run for city council
in Detroit.
Congratulations to Commissioner James
Rasor. Com. Rasor is the first openly gay candidate to run
in the city of Royal Oak.
The Triangle Foundation
encourages openly LGBT candidates to get involved in your
community and run for fairness and change.
Even so, the
success of these candidates happens only with the hard work of
volunteers. Thank you to the many people who knocked on
doors, passed out literature, collected signatures, and talked
on the phone. You are the heart and backbone of each
campaign.
Stay involved and lets gain equality in
Michigan.
